Blogging about Wyoming

I live in Riverton, Wyoming.
Wyoming is a state like no other. The people who call The Cowboy State home, are like no other.
I am a city girl; a transplant from Northern California. I lived and worked there for 6 years. I loved it! The hub for liberals, homosexuals, and a hollywood action hero for a Governor.

So, why Wyoming?
Well, my family moved to Riverton after I graduated from High School. After years away from the fam, I felt my mother's Sunday dinners calling me back to the nest. So, I traded my flip flops for cowboy boots. (Not really, this is just a metaphor. I actually still wear my flip flops).
Wow has Wyoming changed my life.

From city girl to country girl. This is a blog about some of the funny moments made possible by the very interesting people of Wyoming.

For instance. Only in wyoming would you see a sign at a local gas station that reads: "NO GUNS ALLOWED! Please leave all firearms in your cars."

Yep, this is where I live. These are my neighbors who make me laugh, scream, shake my head in disbelief, and make me happy to call Wyoming home.
More to come...
